A Gallery of some images produced using the Mach3 Impact / Laser plugin.
This is a 1 bit image where the original picture has been dot-dithered and then laser engraved into some non-pvc engraving laminate.
As a comparison this is the same dot-dithered image but produced using an impact electromagnet.
This is an 8 bit image which has been laser engraved into Obeche.
This is a 1 bit image which has been laser engraved into a ceramic tile.
A couple more 8 bit images laser engraved into Obeche.
We just couldn't resist a couple of eggs.
This is a 1 bit image of Jacko on glass.
Another image on Obeche.
Again a 1 bit image ( dot-dithered ) on glass.
Always a popular subject.
A couple of pcb's - copper clad was paint sprayed then unwanted paint lasered away and the board is ready for acid etching.

Some more images produced using the Mach3 Impact / Laser plugin.
CO2 Lasers are particularly good at removing the dye layer from anodized coatings and this was just an experiment on some scrap ally.
Mirror tiles are easer to laser engrave than they are to photograph.
A couple of images in laser engraving laminate.
It was not until this was complete that the mistake with the numerals was noticed.
More images on laser engraving laminate.
Some items for the garden.
Just for fun.

These were reproduced from early book printed images.
A first attempt at reproducing an 8 bit image on a mirror.
How small can you go ? - first experiments with toner on pcb.
